NEWS OF THE UNDYING

ARTIST SPOTLIGHTS & THINGS OF GENERAL IMPORTANCE

From the Appalachian range of West Virginia comes a fierce progressive stoner metal outfit known as Horseburner, with a mission to bring their music face-to-face with the masses wherever possible and the message that “Rock n’ Roll is cool, so everyone stop being dicks to each other.” We couldn’t agree more.

This band stands out in one major way: working hard and playing hard are the same thing in their world. They give 100%. They believe in what they are doing and you can feel their passion on the stage during live performances. They give every ounce of themselves, every night. To the extent that you can even hear it in their recordings.

Horseburner began in some form in 2008/2009. They self-released an EP called “Dirt City” later that year and now have another EP and 3 full albums since then, with their latest “The Thief” on Ripple Records in 2019. Currently, they admit to being in between things. They have some riffage compiled but feel they are early on in the writing process of what will be the next release. They had about 150 shows planned for 2020 for U.S. and European dates, but have been stymied by the current situation and look forward to touring again more than anything else.

Drummer/2nd Vocalist Adam Nohe ensures us “We are working hard, finding a groove writing with our new lineup, trying to create music that speaks to us and makes us feel something. But the absolute biggest thing for us is to get back on the road and go see our people all over.”

You can catch them as a part of Metal Injection’s live stream from this month and snatch up their catalog until then!
