Post-Satanic, Instru-Metal Doom-Core rebels Clouds Taste Satanic stand out among the world’s underground music with their over-the-top, long instrumentals and a ton of stage fog. Like, a ton. Hoping to gain new heights with less normalcy and more debauchery, the band has been swooning doom crowds since 2013. A band that only seems to give us stronger and stronger releases, Clouds Taste Satanic have a way of being devastatingly articulate and somehow whimsical in their delivery of sonic prowess.

That’s a lot of words, but they are what Blackseed loves about subversive music. Irreverent and without limitations, the band is a delight to witness live, but their recordings never fail to keep the attention of our ears.

Clouds Taste Satanic have just released their latest cacophony: The Satanic Singles Series on their long-time supporting label, Kinda Like Music. Given the current situation, they are currently right back at it, and rehearsing newly written material. According to the band, we can expect a full-length release of covers in March of 2021 and a vinyl reissue of Evil Eye in October 2021. But don’t think for one minute that those releases will be attempts to shrug off new material, as their largest goal is completing a triple album come February 2022, tentatively titled Tales of Demonic Possession. Guitarist Steve Scavusso explains “Go big or go home”, when commenting on all that is planned to come in the near future for the band. When asked about the biggest things fans could look forward to, Steve answers with humility and full Clouds Taste Satanic essence: “Glow in the Dark Slip-mats”.
